Dr. Renu
Dr. Renu belongs to a small village in North India. Her academic excellence from primary school granted her an opportunity to enroll in dental school immediately after high school. In the year 2000, Dr. Renu graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Kurukshetra University.
After having 3 years of experience in an Endodontic clinic and as a lecturer in dental school, she moved to New Zealand. With hard work and a positive attitude, she achieved her NZ dental registration in the year 2005. Dr. Renu worked in multiple private dental practices in partnership for 6 years; influenced by the demand for orthodontic treatment in general practice, she then decided to pursue further studies in orthodontics. Gained graduation with honour from Progressive Orthodontic Seminar (POS) comprehensive series in 2013 and integrated orthodontics into her own practice and enjoyed it thoroughly since then.
Dr. Renu has published some cases in orthodontic journals and has received training to become an orthodontic instructor.
In the last decade, increasing demand for clear aligners from her own patients has provided her an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in this field. Today, Dr. Renu is a respected and knowledgeable presenter in clear aligners and is a keynote speaker for an aligner company. She has kept abreast of various aligner systems and is confident with the most popular systems including Clearcorrect, Invisalign, Angle Align, Spark, Smile Academy, and smile styler. Her aim is always to get the best results and great patient outcomes. Dr. Renu’s vast knowledge and experience with sequential plastic aligners will assist the Dental community to successfully undertaking Aligner cases with professional support. In Practice, she has treated orthodontic cases involving the correction of Class I, Class II, and Class III cases, as well as complex extractions and skeletal anchorage as well as surgical cases, exclusively with clear aligners and a combination of braces and aligners-hybrid as required case to case. Currently, aligners represent over 80% of all patients.

Over the years, Dr. Renu has been a friend and mentor to many in the general dental field who have benefitted from her expertise. Now, she wants to share her knowledge with the wider dental community to ensure they gain greater understanding and proficiency in Dentistry within Australia and overseas.
